Who Can Train With Us? Our training protocol is safe, fun, and effective for people of all ages, including children and seniors. Everything we do can be scaled to meet each individual’s needs or limitations.

How are We different? We are not your typical gym or fitness center. We’re not even your typical Crossfit box. RBB is an exclusive facility that caters to one person (or one small group) at a time. By providing you with individual personal training, you receive the skill and attention necessary to help you achieve specifically desired results, in an often shorter time than you would training on your own or even in a class.

Our service
is perfect for:

1. Any person who wants to get healthy or lose weight, but is not sure where to begin, is turned off by large gyms, or who doesn’t feel safe or productive exercing on their own

2. Those looking for that extra push, and reassurance, that a personal trainer can provide

3. Athletes who have reached a plateau in their training or sport, are trying to advance in their training or sport, or who simply want to challenge themselves by doing something different


Philosophy

Our training is largely based on the Crossfit philosophy which is rooted in a broad, inclusive approach to Functional Fitness that includes Metabolic Conditioning, Weight lifting, basic Gymnastics (pull-ups, push-ups, dips, etc.), and Dynamic Flexibility. We also incorporate degrees of Hatha yoga into our training, including breathing techniques, body alignment, flexibility, and balance.

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing! Combat, survival, many sports, and especially life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

Our gym: We are a "minimalist program" and this is reflected by the functionality and limited number of our exercises and the simplicity of the equipment we use compared to most commercial gyms. Our garage gym is equipped with an olympic weight set, a pull-up bar,  gymnastics rings & parallettes, plyometrics boxes, medicine balls, dumbbells, kettlebells, a Concept II Rower, a treadmill, and a glute-ham developer.

What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

RBB’s Sacred 7 Gym Principles
1. I promise to do my best. My best will vary from day to day, minute to minute. But in that minute I will do my absolute best.

6. I show up to my workouts because I am committed to my health. My commitment to health is an act of self-love.

7. I acknowledge that my diet is the most important part of my program. The cleaner it is, the better I do.

One-on-One Training

Initial Assessment Fee - $75

*A minimum of 12 -24 sessions are encouraged to get the full benefits of working with a personal trainer, as measurable fitness improvements generally occur after 4-8 weeks on a regular program.

A detailed assessment includes gait and postural analysis, strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular testing, body composition, heart rate analysis, and blood pressure readings. All information is completely confidential, and is used for the sole purpose of establishing a safe and effective program, designed specifically for you. A typical assessment generally lasts 60 minutes.

All training sessions are one-hour long, and include warm-up, skill practice, exercise routine, evaluation, and assisted stretching. While half sessions are honored, they are discouraged as we believe they limit the quality of training, modifications, and feedback necessary for each session.

"Yoga Fit" with Jessica

  

Private yoga sessions that are tailored specifically to your level and personal goals.

Jessica’s style of yoga incorporates elements from several disciplines, including Ashtanga, Kundalini, and Vinyasa, which essentially translate to Hatha and Power Yoga. 

Like Crossfit training, traditional Yoga exercises are rooted in functional movement, and therefore improve the quality of our physical life, decreasing our risk for injury and slowing down the bodies aging process.

Most classes will be held in a comfortably heated room (allowing for safe, faciliated deep stretching) and will focus on the development of full body strength, flexibility, balance, and breathing. Because yoga is more than just movement, each class will begin and end with guided reflection, allowing us to quiet our mind, ultimately deepening our physical practice and improving our ability to handle daily stresses.

Our class structure is based upon simple yet effective fundamental movement patterns executed at high intensity, that will deliver time-tested measurable health & fitness results, GUARANTEED.

Our goal is aimed at teaching total mental and physical fitness. The RBB Boot Camp workout combines good old-fashioned exercise, camaraderie and fun with a common-sense nutrition program to produce visible results.

After 4 weeks your body & overall health will have begun it’s transformation, and after 6 weeks your friends will wonder what your secret is!

Will it be hard? Yes, but not impossible.  

Can you keep up? Yes, everyone does what they can. We all start somewhere!

Our On-Line Training is perfect for those of you who want to supplement or revamp your current training program. Perhaps you have hit a plateau and are not getting the results you once did. Maybe you’re a dedicated runner who’d like to increase your muscular strength and flexibility. Or maybe you just want to look better in your favorite jeans, and your regular walks just aren’t doing it! Whatever your goals, an on-line training program can help you reach them.** All programs are designed based upon your specific goals, experience, time commitment, and access to equipment (though gym equipment is not required).

**Please note that while on-line training is an effective form of training (particularly for those who have exercise experience and are self-motivated), it is not the same as one-one-one personal training, where you are continuously guided for safety, proper form & technique, and any necessary adjustments. If you are concerned about your safety during unsupervised exercise, online training may not be suitable for you.
