Dear parents,

We are all too familiar with the growing dialogue about childhood obesity, type II diabetes, and so forth. It's true, today's youth have undergone enormous change. Television, computers and video games have replaced many of the physical activities children once enjoyed. Even children who participate in seasonal sports are still ranking amongst the least fit, most overweight kids in the world.

Our increasingly sedentary lifestyle, coupled with fast food, processed carbohydrates, and sugary snacks & drinks, has contributed to unmotivated children with deteriorating physical & mental health.

The facts are staggering, but so is our ability to change them!

Children are resilient. With the right information, guidance, and practice, any child can adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

I've seen the transformation personally, first with myself, and in recent years with the young adults and teens I have worked with.

After much encouragement, and my growing desire to reach out to our youth, I am excited to offer my first fitness program designed specifically for kids and young teens.

FiT KiD Camp with Jessica Perez-Beebe
About our Program

Our program will focus on 3 main points for Health & Fitness:

Our Training - with a focus on form, technique, and safety

Our training is rooted in functional fitness; movements that prepare the body for real life (nature, sport, work). Some examples of functional movements are pushing, pulling, squatting, pressing, jumping, and sprinting.

Our program also emphasizes proper breathing & various yoga stretches to promote flexibility, stress relief, and a balanced (as opposed to an overly contracted) body.
